RNC Protester Arrested in Violation of Second and Fourth Amendments?

It wasn't that long ago that conservatives were deeply offended by the insinuation that Tea Party protesters were racist and dangerous for bringing firearms to their events.  In fact, they went so far as to attack MSNBC for making a bigger deal out of it then it was.

So why aren't those same Second Amendment activists as deeply upset about another protesters arrest outside the Republican National Convention because he was armed with a machete.  There is no evidence the protester was doing anything other than exercising his first amendment rights.  For this he was stopped and searched in violation of the fourth amendment.

Instead of trying to show the hypocrisy of the left claiming their protesters are non-violent, conservatives and libertarians should be defending this man and showing they themselves are not suffering from the same kind hypocritical hyperbole when it comes to the right to keep and bare arms.
