Hiding in Plain Sight, Muslims Adopting Hispanic Names

Last year the Associated Press revealed the NYPD had developed a program to monitor everyone in the city who changes their name.  The NYPD is looking for Muslims who change their names to more "American" sounding ones as a red flag for possible Islamic terrorists according to the report.

For those whose names sound Arabic or might be from Muslim countries, police run comprehensive background checks that include reviewing travel records, criminal histories, business licenses and immigration documents.
All this is recorded in police databases for supervisors, who review the names and select a handful of people for police to visit.
The program was conceived as a tripwire for cops in the difficult hunt for homegrown terrorists, where there are no widely agreed-upon warning signs.
Now it appears Muslims attempting to find anonymity are becoming even more savvy by adopting Spanish sounding names like Martinez.  This allows them to blend in with people of similar appearance who have become an accepted part of American society.

We already know radical Muslims have been sneaking into the U.S. through the U.S./Mexican border, but this new tactic, thanks to Obama's policies, creates an entirely new danger.  Muslims who enter the country legally and successfully change their names to Hispanic sounding ones will be able to overstay their visas and claim amnesty under Obama's executive order granting some illegal immigrants legal status.

Once again we see how radical Islamists are not afraid to use our own policies against us by taking a simple civil right of changing a name and using it to become a part of a group that has been granted above-the-law status by the federal government.
