MA Democrats Send Bill to Gov. Requiring Proof of Citizenship to Register Vehicles
Despite Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick's attempts to amend the bill, the Democrat controlled state house and senate will send a bill to his desk that would require people registering vehicles to prove their citizenship. The legislation is an effort by law makers to crackdown on the rising epidemic of illegal alien committed vehicle homicides.
It is believed the bill has enough support to overcome any possible veto by the governor.
No word on whether the justice department plans on suing Massachusetts for violating federal supremacy.
