House by House, ‘Dog Lady’ Brings Creatures Comfort, Ignores Needy Children

needychildrencomefirstThe Kansas City “Red” Star is giving one local animal lover national attention after their front page exaltation was picked up by the Drudge Report.

Kate Quigley, a.k.a the Dog Lady, is being heralded by the Star for driving into “high poverty” neighborhoods and looking for animals that are being neglected or abused. She goes knocking on doors, talking to owners, and leaving supplies.

She even goes so far as to kidnap dogs to have them spayed or neutered or as the Star puts it:

“By ‘borrowing’ pets to have them spayed and neutered, she stops the misery of neglect from repeating itself litter after litter.”

The dog lady admits to bringing in 438 cats and 562 dogs, that’s 1,000 counts of pet knapping for those of you keeping count.

Reportedly the dog lady keeps a copy of the Serenity Prayer in her truck to remind her that these poor dogs are forced to remain outside and “never know the softness of a living room rug.” The fact that evolution selected dogs not to have deposable thumbs and instead gave them sharp claws and teeth with which they use to survive the not-so soft outdoors environment escapes Miss Kate.

“If we can change the life of even one dog, it matters,” she tells the Star.

And the Dog Lady takes that mantra to heart. Just last year she donated 95 doghouses and 14,700 pounds of dog food to pet owners. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear she bothered to donate even one single can of corn or a gently used coat to the needy children she’s met on her travels through these “high poverty” areas.

You might be wondering how a woman that so obviously cares about suffering might ignore the children suffering in these communities. We think her own words say it all.

“I hate people.”

Absolutely correct. This "woman" is breaking the law, making judgment calls, stealing pets to have unauthorized medical procedures, etc.
Someone should look into this and press charges.
IF YOU COME IN MY YARD I WILL HAVE YOU ON VIDEO TAPE AND I WILL PRESS CHARGES.
A f*cking dog narc.............

Hello. I just wanted to make one correction. The animals are fixed with the owners permission, they have to sign a release. Where'd you read otherwise?

It's "opposable" (not deposable) thumb!
