"Manufactured" Healthcare Protests

White House Press Secretary Gibbs called the numerous protests that have been breaking out at town hall meetings across the country over Obamacare, "manufactured anger."

"I hope people will take a jaundiced eye to what is clearly the Astroturf nature of grass-roots lobbying," said White House press secretary Robert Gibbs during a morning off-camera session in his office with reporters.

"This is manufactured anger," he said.

Think Progress, a liberal blog, is going so far as to claim two conservatives groups, FreedomWorks and Americans for Prosperity are behind the disruptions. The fact Think Progress has no evidence to back up their baseless claims hasn't stopped other liberal bloggers and even members of the mainstream media, and apparently the White House, from embracing the explanation.

Though, we have to admit, if anyone can spot a "manufactured protest", liberals are likely to be the best source to go to, after all they are experts at the practice.

The feeble attempts by the white house and msm to discount the town hall and tea party protests aren't stopping the truly grassroots phenomenon from growing and numbers don't lie:

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 53% are at least somewhat opposed to the current healthcare reform effort.. and 37% strongly oppose.

And those numbers are growing daily.

But don't take our word for it. Visit the local town halls of your representatives. Send us some pictures of those rightwing radical buses parked out front. Better yet, do as these patriotic Americans are doing and attend and make your voice heard.

Here's where KC area voters can find their representatives during the congressional recess:
