Historic Peace Summit Lands Obama Nobel Peace Prize

President Obama learned today that he had been awarded the coveted Nobel Peace Prize for his extensive efforts to bring peace to two groups that have been at odds for generations.

While many were left stunned by the announcement that the President was awarded this great honor just nine months into his presidency, everyone recognizes the peace summit he worked so hard to bring about will undoubtedly have a long and historic impact.

Who can forget Professor Gates' comments immediately after the summit, “We hit it off right from the beginning. When he’s not arresting you, Sergeant Crowley is a really likable guy.”

The "Beer Summit", as it has since been aptly named, brought representatives from the liberal elitist professors and the blue collar law and order crowd together for the first time. President Obama, using his Divine inspiration, requested the two groups join him for a beer in the White House playground and work out their differences.

President Obama addressed the nation at approximately 10:30 am EST this morning to address this great honor.
