Praise Where Praise is Due

We may not agree with most of President Obama's domestic agenda and find ourselves criticising him more often than not because of it. But we have to give praise where praise is due and on the President's appearance on Letterman, praise is due.

Although it was more than likely a choreographed q&a, when David Letterman asked the president on his thoughts regarding former president Jimmy Carter's comments that criticism of Obama's policies are largely racist, Obama answered simply, "I think it's important to realize that I was actually black before the election."

So here's to you Mr President for having the courage to stand up to those in your party who would choose to resort to name calling when they find themselves devoid of an intelligent counter argument.
