Census Bureau Informs ACORN Their Services Will No Longer Be Needed

In the wake of two undercover videos exposing ACORN employees instructing people on how to commit tax fraud and investigations of voter fraud in ten states, the US Census Bureau has informed the controversial left-wing activist group that they will no longer be in need of their services.  ACORN had been contracted to perform low level data gathering for the in 2010 census.
"Over the last several months, through ongoing communication with our regional offices, it is clear that ACORN's affiliation with the 2010 Census promotion has caused sufficient concern in the general public, has indeed become a distraction from our mission, and may even become a discouragement to public cooperation, negatively impacting 2010 Census efforts."

ACORN also announced today that they have fired both employees caught on tape, bringing the total let go to four.

Now, if we can only get Nancy Pelosi to launch a congressional investigation and a full forensic audit into ACORN we might be able to make a small dent in the culture of corruption that has a strangle hold on our federal government.  Of course the chance of that occurring is about as likely as Obama's Treasury Secretary, Tim Geithner, paying his taxes.
