Getting Barney Frank From Behind

For the first time ever, we're getting behind Democrat congressmen Barney Frank. Not because of the male prostitution ring he ran out of his apartment, not because of his failures to regulate Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, but because he has joined Ron Paul's effort to force an audit of the Federal Reserve.

The bill in questions is H.R. 1207 and if you haven't called your congressman and urged them to support this effort, we're looking at you Dennis Moore, you should do so immediately.
"We have, in this country, one of the most corrupt institutions the world has ever known. I refer to the Federal Reserve Board. This evil institution has impoverished the people of the United States and has practically bankrupted our government. It has done this through the corrupt practices of the moneyed vultures who control it."
- Congressman Louis T. McFadden, 1932

Update: 4:53 pm - It is appearing as Barney Frank is not supporting H.R. 1207, but his own Federal Reserve audit bill as part of a larger financial bill that will likely contain watered down language designed to appease the people pushing for an audit, but not hold the federal reserve accountable. So as far as us getting behind Barney Frank, I guess we spoke prematurally... he's still a just a big, criminal, Democrat douchebag.
