Militant Obama-Jugend Video Originated in Kansas City

Friday we posted this video of militant youth declaring their allegiance to Barack Obama. Turns out this video originated in a Kansas City, MO public school.
"Joyce McGautha, superintendent of the Urban Community Leadership Academy, a charter school for students in fifth through ninth grades in Kansas City, Mo., said that the video was probably taken last May during the Junior Fraternity's morning meeting at the school."

The superintendent said the video was made in a period where the students are supposed to be working on reading and writing.

The school said they would not release the name of the teacher due to legal action that may take place. The superintendent also said the school records most of their activities but said they warned the teacher the school may seek legal action if the video was posted to the web.

The official statements made by the school seem to indicate that they were not really concerned that students are being indoctrinated into the Obama camp, but more worried that evidence of indoctrination would be leaked to the Internet.

Hat tip Ed for the tip.

UPDATE: Chris Stigall of KCMO 710 AM covered this issue yesterday morning. Hear his thoughts and those of the school's superintendent here. Click on: "Joyce McGautha Talks About Obama Pledge" for full interview. Credit to Chris Stigall for breaking the KC link.

WTF??!??

You gotta be kidding me! What the hell is the school district doing help make this ad?!?

They sure the hell don't want our kids having Christmas Parties for fear of "leaving out non-Christians", but they'll be more than happy to celebrate not just a political party, but single it to Obama!

In order for it to be fair, those exact same kids should have made an identical movie shouting out how they love McCain. BETTER YET - the school district should stay out of politics altogether and let the student's parents fill the kids in on each party.

Oh wait - the school district wouldn't want that. They want full control of all indoctrinations of all students. The school district and the teachers love love to see all the parent's views go to hell.

What really scares me the most about this video is the chanting of "Alpha, Omega" at the video's onset. There's been talk about Obama being seen as "Messiah-like".

Jesus Christ has been the only one associated with the words "Alpha" and "Omega" together:

Revelation 1:8
"'I am the Alpha and the Omega,' says the Lord God, 'who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.'"

Revelation 21:6
"He said to me: 'It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life.'"

Revelation 22:13
"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."

It's one thing for children to be taught politics in school as long as it is done fairly and objectively. This has no earmarks of objectivity. Based on the chant, the clothes, and the apparent militant attitude, I'd say these kids were brainwashed.

Had these children been McCain supporters, the Left would have been crying foul from coast to coast. But since this relates to Obama and the progression of Leftist agenda, this is not only over-looked by the Left, but hypocritically welcomed whole-heartedly.

"For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths."
