The Kansas Citian's TV Guide for Wednesday, Oct 29, 2008

It's the last hump day before the election and being the loyal TV viewer you are, you are no doubt wondering what you are going to watch tonight. Let the TV experts at The Kansas Citian help you out.

All times central standard time:
  • On ABC, you can catch a new episode of the hit show Pushing Daisies at 7:00 p.m. The show features a zany cast of characters that solve crime with a touch, bringing the dead back to life momentarily to finger their killers. It's good family fun.
  • If crime dramas aren't your thing, PBS will take viewers on A Ride Along the Lincoln Highway at 7:00. Route 66 lovers will love this nostalgic look at one of America's most scenic drives.
  • Life not enough reality for you? Catch a full hour of Dog the Bounty Hunter on A&E at 7:00 and sit back as he tracks down some of America's most wanted bail jumpers.
  • Get your family in the Halloween spirit with another spooky episode of Goosebumps on the Cartoon Network, also at 7:00 p.m.
  • Sports fans will want to be sure to catch the NBA match up between the Suns and the Spurs on ESPN. Tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
  • The teens in the house may want to flip over to MTV at 7:00 p.m. to catch the latest episode of Paris Hilton's My New BFF.
  • Feeling like a movie and some popcorn? Aliens starts at 7:00 p.m. on the Fox Movie Channel, the dance drama Honey featuring the sexy Jessica Alba starts at 7:00 on the Oxygen network, and the scary Hannibal Rising begins at 7:00 p.m. on Showtime2.
While tonight's plethora of entertaining programs is certainly a nice way to escape the stresses of the day, we suggest you take Barack Obama's advice and "turn off the TV" and instill in your children a sense of excellence that they simply won't be able to find in anything on TV tonight.
