God Hates Barack Obama

Game 5 of the World Series, which was suspended last night because of rain, has been rescheduled for Wednesday at 7 p.m. central time.

Barack Obama's "historic" 30-minute infomercial is scheduled to air from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. central time on Fox, CBS, NBC, and Univision. ABC has opted not to air the ad, preferring to stick with it's regular fall line up.

While the Obama campaign had been banking on an increase in viewership on Fox because their ad was scheduled to run as a lead-in to a possible Game 6 of the World Series, they will now find themselves pre-empted and without an audience.

UPDATE: Although the Chicago Tribune reported Game 5 will restart at 7:00 p.m. central, the MLB is now saying 7:37 p.m. CST. So while God may have wanted to rain on Obama's parade, the MLB doesn't and is going to go ahead and concede the Obama campaign the audience of what could possibly be the final game of the World Series. We're sure there is absolutely no bias involved in that decision.

Actually, the ad will air at 8:00PM EST, and the game will resume promptly at 8:37PM, weather permitting. ABC eventually told the Obama campaign that it wanted to take the $1 million to air their ad, but the campaign turned them down - it had found better uses for the money in the interim. As for who God favors, I'll leave that to you...

Thanks for the update. The Chicago Tribune reported the game would start at 7.

"Weather permitting, the game will be completed at 7 p.m. Central time Wednesday evening in Philadelphia."

It's good to see the MLB continues to be willing to move one of sports biggest events to suit the Obama's campaign.

As for God, that was a joke. Remember the preacher that urged people to pray for rain with regards to Obama's Denver speech.

Looks like you are right about ABC. They contacted the Obama campaign today to try to get in on the ad after it became apparent the the holy one is sliding in the polls.

I guess we can be thankful the Obama campaign doesn't have the free cash on hand and we will actually have something to watch on TV tomorrow night.

Now John McCain is commenting on the world series thing. Here is a short video of McCain referencing the WS.
