Sprint Turns the Meter On

Sprint continues their long line of superb business decisions by notifying EVDO (mobile broadband) customers that they will be capping their service in 30 days. The caps will limit customers' bandwidth usage to 300 MB per month while roaming and 5 GB per month total.
"Effective in 30 days, Sprint reserves the right to limit throughput speeds or amount of data transferred and to deny, terminate, modify, or suspend service if usage exceeds 5 GB/month in total or 300 MB/month while roaming off network."

We guess unlimited service really isn't all that unlimited.
