KCPD Partners with CrimeReports.com

The Kansas City Police Department has partnered with CrimeReports.com to graphically represent crimes committed in KC.
"Our department is dedicated to transparency, and the CrimeReports service is a perfect example of that," said police chief James Corwin.

Looking at the more than 500 recent crimes being displayed on the web site, we're thinking Kansas City's law enforcement is woefully inadequate. Just another reason why gas prices won't have any effect on KC area suburbanites moving back to the city.

Compare the crime stats for the heart of KC, which you show, to KC North. It's night and day. I wonder why.

I want to know why all crimes are not reported to crimereports.com. For example the murder in westport is not listed on crimereports.com.
