Park Hill School District Desperate to Save Gas

On July 7th, Park Hill School District employees will begin showing up for work only four days a week. The district's temporary move to four, ten hour work days is meant to save employees and the district money by using less gas.

Other plans the district considered but ultimately declined to pursue included requiring employees to ride the short bus to and from work, car pooling in Mrs. Johnson's 2006 Toyota Prius, and requiring employees to convert their vehicles to run on bio diesel to make use of the district's supply of leftover grade d, but edible meatloaf to power their vehicles.
