Mary Sanchez has some KC related tidbits about a convention that was held in Guanajuato, Mexico last week discussing the "mythical" NAFTA super-highway.

Kansas City played a big role in last week’s North America's SuperCorridor Coalition, Inc. (NASCO) conference in Guanajuato, Mexico.

Two of the featured speakers at the transportation and trade conference were Kansas City Southern CEO Mike Haverty and Michael Webber, a locally based international expert on air cargo.

And former Kansas City Council member George Blackwood is president of NASCO.
