Mr. Kennedy, Meet Karma

Right now there's a girl looking down on Washington DC, who we suspect couldn't be happier.

Mary Jo Kopechne was killed when Senator Ted Kennedy, while drunk, drove his car off a bridge and into the channel between Chappaquiddick and Martha's Vineyard. Kennedy fled the scene and did not call authorities until the following day. Although he pled guilty to fleeing the scene of an accident, he was never punished, that is until now.

Senator Edward "Teddy" Kennedy has been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. More will be known about how his doctors plan to treat the cancer after more tests can be conducted.

Damn right....the man is the most despicable member (maybe) of the most overrated (and shady) family of the 20th century. He should have gone to jail decades ago and it would not be a big loss for the Senate, the Nation or just about anyone else if he were to pass on.

RIP Mary Jo.

Very good post. I'm from Martha's Vineyard, and many of us islanders feel that Ted Kennedy has yet to answer for Mary Jo Kopechne's death.

Although I personally wouldn't want to wish this on anyone, but it does seem like his sins are catching up with him in one form or another.
