Google has announced that they plan on opening up their TV advertising service to the public soon. This means that if you have a broadband connection, a video camera, and can splice a 15 or 30 second ad together on your Mac or Windows PC you can show your creation to the world via Dish Network. Since pricing will be based on Google's adwords model, you'll only pay for the number of people that actual view your ad, which should make it somewhat affordable. Google hopes to expand the service to cable networks in the future.
No doubt we can all expect to see videos like this one airing soon.
