KS Man Fights Late Merger Ordinance

Linus Baker was ticketed when he merged in front of a long line of cars in a construction zone last year in Overland Park, KS. The judge ruled in his favor saying the ordinance was vague and failed to account for roads with multiple lanes.

Mr. Baker, a Stilwell lawyer, is now suing Overland Park on behalf of other drivers.
[H]e doesn’t see the point of joining a long line of cars in one lane when the other lane has yet to close.

We can't really argue with that logic.
