It Didn't Take Long

It's barely been a week since the Kansas City city council approved a highly controversial budget to help curb the city's deficit problems and they are already looking at new ways to spend money they don't have.

The council has directed city manager, Wayne Cauthen to hire a consultant to look for a location to build, find a funding source, and a developer for a new 1000-room hotel. The new hotel is to serve as a convention headquarters hotel.

No doubt Cauthen will hire another one of his over paid, under qualified cronies. This folks, is why we needed layoffs and cut backs at the zoo.
