KS Rep Says Just Say "NO" to NAFTA and NASCO

Republican legislator from Shawnee, Judy Morrison, wants the Kansas legislature to pass a resolution seeking Congress withdrawal from NAFTA and oppose NASCO, the NAFTA super-highway. Her measure is supported by the Teamsters Union and Democrat Nancy Boyda.

At issue are NAFTA rules that would give sovereign rule of the super-highway to international courts, making the corridor not subject to U.S. law.

For being just a myth, there seems to be an awful lot of congressional time being wasted on the NAFTA super highway.

It seems the NAFTA Superhighway myth has spread beyond the borders of the US. Check out this site from the Alberta (Canada) Ministry of Transportation.

This official government of Alberta site has a map with what appears to be I-35 labeled as "Nafta Superhighway".
